BCI –DF improves the wet fastness of direct & Reactive dyeing and prints. Direct dyes which have poor wash fastness on cotton fabric can be improved by incorporation of BCI- DF in the final washing operations. Reactive dyes which are prone to hydrolysis with water give inferior wet fastness and also blending of colour takes place when washing in not thorough. Both the above defects can be corrected by using BCI-Df in the final operation.
